Flo came to me with this country-esque pop song written in her time in Nashville. The song immediately gave me such a strong mental image for what I came to call the ‘BARBIE BREAKUP FANTASY’, that I pitched it, and three weeks later it became a reality. Produced in collaboration between myself and the incredibly talented Milkcrate Collective, this performance music video was shot in a romance bookstore, Hopeless Romantic Books, in Toronto, with my own bed and mattress staring.
